Most “free online PDF” sites upload your document to a server you know nothing about. PDFQuick does not. Every tool here uses open-source JavaScript libraries that run inside your browser tab, so the contents of your file never travel over the network.
We do not claim military-grade encryption or instant server-side deletion — there is no server-side copy to encrypt or delete in the first place. When you close the tab, the working copy in memory is gone.

Are the PDFQuick tools really free?
Yes. Every tool on PDFQuick is free to use with no account, no watermark and no forced signup. The site is funded by advertising, which you can decline in your privacy preferences.
Do my files get uploaded to a server?
No. All processing happens inside your browser tab using JavaScript libraries such as pdf-lib and pdf.js. Your file is read into memory on your own device and the result is generated locally.
Is there a file size limit?
PDFQuick accepts PDFs up to 100 MB and images up to 25 MB each. The real constraint is your device's memory, since everything is processed locally.
Which browsers are supported?
Any current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari on desktop, Android or iOS. JavaScript must be enabled because the tools run on your device.
Can PDFQuick read scanned documents?
Tools that need a text layer, such as PDF to Word, cannot read scans because scanned pages are images. PDFQuick does not include OCR, and we say so rather than returning an empty file.
